System Requirements
Ensure your system meets these requirements before downloading AionUi.
Operating Systems
- macOS – 10.15 (Catalina) or higher
- Windows – Windows 10 or higher
- Linux – Ubuntu 18.04+, Debian 10+, Fedora 32+
Hardware
- Memory – 4GB or more recommended
- Storage – At least 500MB available space
Running local models via Ollama or LM Studio needs far more RAM and often a capable GPU; cloud APIs keep AionUi itself lightweight. Image generation and large-context chats also benefit from extra RAM.
Software dependencies
AionUi bundles its desktop shell; individual CLI integrations may require their own runtimes (Node, Python, etc.) per upstream docs. Keep those CLIs updated to avoid auth or protocol mismatches.
Network
Cloud models need outbound HTTPS to provider endpoints. WebUI and remote access require whichever inbound ports you configure—plan firewall rules accordingly.
