When AionUi is the better fit

  • You need Windows or Linux.
  • You want multiple models or local models via Ollama / LM Studio.
  • You want file + office workflows (see use cases).

When Claude Cowork still wins

Anthropic’s own UI will always track Claude-specific features first. If your org standardized on macOS, funds the subscription without debate, and only needs Claude Code-shaped workflows, staying in-ecosystem can mean fewer moving parts.

Migration checklist

  1. Install AionUi from Download and confirm Claude Code detection.
  2. Copy over API keys or login flows you already use for Claude; verify in LLM configuration.
  3. Recreate critical chat contexts manually—there is no automatic import from another vendor’s cloud history.
  4. Enable WebUI only after you understand network exposure; see remote access.
